The Taberna del Alabardero restaurants form part of Lezama, a group that comprises culinary schools and restaurants. In the Costa del Sol, Lezama has two locations, one in the Alabardero Resort, in Benahavís, and the other one in the San Pedro Alcántara Beach Club.
The Benahavís location is the gem of this four-star resort & spa. Surrounded by gardens, the restaurant, with live piano and elegantly decorated with candle lights and rose petals on colonial furniture, serves excellent food.
Benjamín Alloza is the chef. Trained in the Basque Country, Benjamín Alloza combines Basque and Andalusian food using innovative cooking techniques. His menu presents us with a chance to try wonderful food made with the best ingredients. Even the most demanding customers will rate the Alarbadero recipes superb.
As to the Alabardero Playa, it’s much more than a simple beach bar. It serves excellent food and has different relaxing options that make it an original space, perfect to spend our leisure time and enjoy a hearty meal.
You can have a drink by the pool before lunch. The dining room features marine elements, and the menu includes innumerable dishes, mainly Mediterranean food, but there are some typical dishes as Málaga’s deep-fried dish, rice dishes or recipes from the North. You can wash down the Alabardero Playa’s delicious meal with a good wine.
